The Wand Of The Apprentice is the first thing you will need to get started in Thaumcraft. It will be charged by the local Aura Node, depending on the Vis and Flux levels, will depend on the rate of charge. It can only carry 50 Vis, and when used, Vis is taken from it, then the Aura Node will charge it, causing less Vis in the Aura. Can be upgraded to Wand Of The Adept.
